(Bt Timah)
Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ, you may have heard about an incident that occurred during the Sunset Mass today (Saturday 9 Nov) and Fr Chris was injured. We do not have the full details of what happened so please wait for the official announcement.
We thank the Lord that Fr Christopher Lee is currently in stable condition and recovering in the hospital, after surgery to close his wounds went well. He remains warded for doctors to monitor his condition.
At this time we do not encourage visitors to the hospital so that Fr Lee can rest well. We do, however, encourage all to pray for his speedy recovery and for our parish.
Please note that Masses and events at St Joseph's Church (Bukit Timah) will proceed as normal from Sunday 10 Nov.
For any inquiries, please contact the Archbishop’s Communication Office at 68951569.
Affected parishioners who need counselling may contact Catholic Family Life therapists at 6631 8963 or 6488 0278.
